A Thought for Thanksgiving
With our little girl due in two months, I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a mother. There is nothing that I want more.

More to come from this wedding in a few days...

This quote comes into my mind often. I really love it.

Evie
As many of you know, I am expecting a baby girl in January and I couldn't be more excited!! Of course, one thing on my list of many things to do before she comes is to design and totally plan out her newborn session...still on my to do list. :) I am no expert with newborn pictures; I do them here and there for people that ask for it, but I wouldn't say that it is what I do best. I think I'll wait until I have a studio room or an easier setup before I jump into doing them more often. They are a lot of work! I do love the sweet little babies that I have worked with though. They are adorable!! This is Evie, a few weeks old, born in August 2011.
A sweet new blossom of humanity.
Southern California Family Session
So as you know, I have been terrible at updating this blog. But all is not lost. :) I am simply going to post what I simply have not yet.
For now, here is a session with this adorable family. This was one of the shoots that I did when I traveled to CA in the spring for a few family photo sessions, etc.
I love this family. And I couldn't get enough of this little munchkin. He was too adorable!

We spent a lot of time in the beginning trying to get out as many wiggles as possible so that we could get this.
and then he was free to play all he wanted. :)
They played together the whole time we did the girls' pictures. And they couldn't have made a better pair.
Then on to the girls...all of them beautiful!!
Thought I'd end with this one. Jacob, full of gummy bears.
The happiest moments of my life have been the few which I have passed at home in the bosom of my family.
