Larisa Lance & Sydney

Last week my husband and I traveled to California for a family reunion.  While we were there, we had just enough time to squeeze in some quick photo shoots of some of my family members. On our last night there, I did a quick photo shoot of my sister, Larisa and her two horses, Lance and Sydney. Larisa is a dressage trainer in the area and keeps her horses on a beautiful ranch in Somas, California.  We didn't have much time before the sun went down, so we literally ran back and forth to get the horses ready and change outfits. I love seeing Larisa with her horses because she has unique bond with them, and it is evident in these pictures. Look close in one of them, her horse is giving her a kiss. :)

Remember this couple from their bridal shoot?  I have a lot of catch up to do on this blog.  Their wedding was back in winter when Utah was covered in white.  I loved being with them; the two were always smiling and laughing together, they couldn't have looked happier.  It was snowing when these two came out of the temple, so we did most of their pictures under overhangs, but they braved a few out in the snow. Their family was so warm and inviting; we had a lot of fun with them at the reception.  Thanks for such a fun day.  Congratulations you two!
