Paige Brooklynn

Paige is 2 months old and such a cute little baby. It took a lot of patience to get her to sleep and to not wake her while doing the shoot, but it all worked out so well. Her mother Amy and I had a good time. I haven't done many newborn pictures, so this was a great experience for me. :)

Lemons!

I love lemons. I love their brightness, color, taste, and how they make so many food dishes so delicious. So, the other day I was preparing some treats for this bridal shower I was planning, and I decided to make a lemon-y treat. I found this recipe back when I was in 6th grade and our assignment was to make a healthy French meal. I found it on a website (I'm assuming I was looking at French recipes.) Is it French? I don't know. But it is definitely good!

They are fun to make, and the secret is, they are so easy too! All it takes is some sweetened condensed milk and the inside of squeezed lemons. You can decide how much sweetened condensed milk to add based on how tart you like it.  This time I made these, I used 9 lemons and 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk. Cut the lemons in half, squeeze out the inside, add the sweetened condensed milk, and mix it all together in a blender.  Pour the mixture back into the lemon halves and the left overs in a bowl.  Freeze for a few hours and enjoy! :)

Here's some pictures I took of the process (simply because I love lemons so much.)

Preview: Jinhee and Jung

American Fork Canyon was the perfect place for the ideas Jinhee had in mind for her bridals. I didn't expect so much snow, but it was beautiful! Jinhee and Jung were so great to trudge through the snow for these. You may not be able to tell from these pictures, but it was so COLD! They turned out beautiful though. They are wearing hanbok, which is the traditional Korean ceremonial attire. I LOVED the bright colors and the elegant style.

I'll post more of their bridals and wedding soon!

Dan & Nicole

These two were so fun to photograph. Nicole was my roommate last year and she is one of my very best friends. She is one of the nicest people you will ever meet! She is also makes beautiful cakes! She made my wedding cake and it couldn't have been more beautiful. Check out her blog http://gateaufille.blogspot.com

I didn't know Dan very well before this photoshoot, so it was so fun to see them together.  They are a beautiful couple and I am so happy for them.  Congrats Nicole!! :)

A Play Day Outside (Finally! :)

It's been a long winter and I have been craving sunshine and warm weather!  This Spring has been a bit tantalizing, but I think it's here. At least I hope!

Fortunately, mixed in with all these storms we've been having here in Utah, we've been given a bit of sunshine goodness as well. :) The other day my husband Jake and I were outside taking pictures and tossing a football on the lawn.  His sister Tilly was over with her two adorable kids Maliah and Mckay and they started playing around on some bikes. We had a lot of fun and this gets me SO excited for warm weather! :)

Charlotte and Nick

I have known Charlotte ever since I can remember.  Swimming, cooking, dressing up, sleepovers... we had the greatest time together as little girls. She is the one who first introduced me to digital cameras.  I was hooked! I remember going over to her house to play when we were young and we would take pictures all day and all night.  Not kidding. Thank you Charlotte, I don't think you realize what you started. :)

Charlotte and Nick are so fun to be with, and I love seeing them together.  Nick is out of state right now, so I was one of the lucky ones to meet him before the wedding in May. I am so excited for the two of them and I am sure their wedding will be beautiful! We took these engagement pictures soon after a big snow storm, still leaving mingling grey clouds.  We started in Provo and headed off to Daybreak where Charlotte knew of a model home we could take pictures in and around. It was freezing outside so we definitely enjoyed the indoor shots. :)

Here's a few pictures from that day.
